Maddi Jane [Singer]

Although I hold a strong belief that young artists should take some time to appreciate childhood and the whole experience of growing up, I can't help but find it amazing each time I fall upon youngsters with a talent many grown-ups could only wish for.

Maddi Jane isn't a seasoned performer nor is she very developed in terms of vocal ability, however is what gets me she's got an unnatural grasp of how to sing and do so properly. Her tone is absolutely beautiful already and I can only imagine what she'll be like in a few years!

Maddi's YouTube is filled with covers that range from the age-appropriate country-pop star Taylor Swift to alternative metal band Flyleaf to the soulful sounds of Hip-Hop artist Shontelle. Although I highly doubt Maddi has felt much of what she sings, she's capable of embracing the genre and sing it while keeping it her own style. For a 12-year-old, her technique is amazing- the focus and her ability to channel the emotion and represent it are equally strong.

Maddi has posted the following on her Youtube, which I think is a mature move whether it be her idea or her parents: "I sing covers of music that I enjoy. I don't endorse the messages in the lyrics of every song. Sometimes I sing a song simply because I like it. " When you're so young and bound to have a young fan base It's important to make sure you're setting the right example, this says that what she may be singing about isn't necessarily what is right or what should be taken as an example. Another aspect I like about her is that in each of her videos she is dressed appropriately and doesn't endorse anything beyond her age group.

Maddi Jane is a real performer in the making and I am looking forward to see what she has in store for us in the future!

    She is the best singer I have seen in a really long time. She has amazing talent. She remeinds me of my friend who is almost as talented as her. She is 14 and has already gotten an offer from broadway! I am sure Maddi will be famous... she has a strong and passionate voice. She is amazing and i get goose bumps everytime I hear her sing :'D

    This girl is totally amazing. she has so much talent and i'm addicted to listening to her covers. i'm sure that one day she will become famous and have a huge fan base. i can't wait until she posts videos of songs that she has made up :)

    she is so good, i have big hopes for her!All she needs to do is belive in herself! i really like all of the songs she sings and i dont go the the original songs i go to listen to her! my fav song she sings is "Rolling in the deep"! kepp going girle <3 u!!

    I absolutely love her singing & the way she does it. I can clearly tell, just by the way she sings, she is a natural performer. She will keep getting farther & farther as she goes along & I wish the best for her throughout that path. I really do wish I was her, her talent is beyond amazing. Maddi, you are a huge inspiration for not only me, but many others as well. You deserve every bit of the love you are getting. Your fans are really proud of you & I'm sure your family is too. Keep going !

    hey guys im not that much of a fan but one day i was watching the ellen show thats when i saw her. she's really a good singer. all you justin bieber haterz what if she turns out like him. im kidding. i dont like jb but im not a hater i respect peoples music. shes a really good singer. wonder what she'll be like in a few years! :D nice singing.

    also that was also my comment on the top. here said talked about me repecting singing well yeai do. the sing she is good at which i just saw are i think rolling in the deep by adele. And again by flyleaf. those are the songs i heard now which probably i think are the best songs she did yet! keep up that awesome. wow next thing u know im gonna be a fan. well actually no. im not that much to be a fan about singing. keep up that awesome singing.

    her voice is amazing, i love how she hits the low notes, high notes, and everything in between, just perfectly :) she also sings with so much emotion and dedication, it's quite inspiring :)

    I love Maddi Jane, but seeing others on america's got talent make me want to see what else she can do with her voice rather then just hit a note (which she does beautifully).
